Whole-body regenerative cell therapy for pain, joints, and longevity in Park City, Utah
Docere Clinics opened in Park City, Utah in 2002. Harry Adelson, a naturopathic doctor, started doing prolotherapy injections in the late 1990s, added ultrasound-guided PRP in 2006, and has since built the practice almost entirely around regenerative injections for worn-out joints, spines, and ligaments. He has performed more than 7,000 bone-marrow and fat-tissue cell procedures. The clinic's best-known offering is the Full-Body Stem Cell Make-Over, which injects the spine and the major joints, including shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, and ankles, in a single sedated visit. The cells come from the patient's own bone marrow and fat, or from screened, donated umbilical-cord tissue. Adelson pitches it partly at people who don't have much pain yet and want to stay ahead of it, which is where the longevity framing comes in. Amy Killen, an emergency-medicine physician who moved into regenerative and aesthetic work, can add skin, hair, and sexual-health injections during the same visit. This is expensive, and Docere is upfront about it: treatments start around $25,000 and the average runs $40,000 to $65,000, sedation included. The clinic is also blunt that the science isn't settled. Its own FAQ says regenerative medicine has not been scientifically proven to be effective, results aren't lasting, and most patients return for a tune-up every few years. These therapies are not FDA-approved for these uses and are considered investigational.
